Expected Duties and Responsibilities
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with designers and cross-functional teams to implement UI/UX effectively.
- Configure FTP and server settings to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure websites are fully responsive and compatible across browsers and devices.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping methods, and other e-commerce functionalities.
- Optimize website performance for speed, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to suggest innovative solutions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for project builds and processes.
- Coordinate project timelines, tasks, and resources to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Must have 2-3 years experiences in related field.
- Solid understanding of PHP, including Shopify Liquid.
- Hands-on experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with designers and team members.
